I add value to the purchasing side of the transaction by making sure the overall sales process and timeframe stay on target in order to have a smooth transition to the new ownership.
For sellers, I assist in determining the value of your business, establish a selling price, identify prospective buyers, facilitate negotiations, and lead all involved to a smooth closing. This will allow the present business owner time to concentrate on the operation of their business during the selling process. I work as a team with attorneys, CPA’s, Banker’s, and other professionals to provide a full range of services to my client’s.
Ronnie Purdy is Vice President and Managing Partner of The Market Connection, LLC. Ronnie graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Before his time at The Market Connection, Ronnie spent several years as a commercial loan officer and area executive with Centerstate Bank. His experience as a commercial banker, has helped develop the foundation necessary to make the transition into commercial real estate appraising seamless, and to become one of the leading business valuators in Central Florida. These career disciplines have organically lead Ronnie to the field of business brokerage. Ronnie is now a team member of Business Brokers of Central Florida, owned and operated by Paul McNally. Ronnie has been working closely with buyers and sellers of small businesses for over 20 years, providing consultation services, lending opportunities, private placements, as well as appraisal services. Within a market that is constantly shifting, his extensive skills valuing small businesses provides the client with a timely, accurate, and superior buying/selling experience. As a small business owner with corporate management skills, the experience for buyers and sellers is professional, organized, and seamless. He is a licensed Business Broker, Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.
More about Ronnie: Ronnie is husband to Alia, and father to Schuyler, Stacia, Vasia, and Mila. His hobbies include spending time with family, playing basketball, watching football, fishing and hunting.

I am able to assist sellers using my background in Real Estate, Business, and Tax Compliance by negotiating for the sellers, understanding that confidentiality is vital, and can evaluate the business at fair market value that allow the business to sell.
Jhayne received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1992 and started her career in Tax with the Big 4 CPA firms – PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP in Chicago, IL. She was one of the last person to leave Arthur Andersen in order to file the final Partnership Return with 2000+ Schedule K1’s. Thereafter, she started her own Tax practice and joined a Startup healthcare service company where she established standard procedures and drove continuous improvements.
In 2006, Jhayne relocated to Central Florida to join a CPA firm specialized in International Taxation. In 2009, she joined the largest reseller and distributor of plastic resin, chemical, and rubber company in the U.S., where she held various roles in Tax, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Compliance departments. In 2011, she received her Juris Doctorate degree.
Jhayne’s passion for helping others led her to recognize the need to promote financial literacy so she switched her focus to Finance. In 2017, she received her Life & Health Insurance license. In 2018, she founded Excelsure Consulting and offer her services as a Strategist / Advisor. In 2019, she received her Series 7 license and became FINRA Registered Representative. Because of her appetite in continuous learning, she studied real estate law and received her license, with the intent to broker her own deals and to assist clients to build wealth through business acquisitions and diversified investments.
Jhayne supports various non-profit organizations. She is a volunteer instructor at Score-Orlando and served as one of the community judges at the 2020 Victory Cup Initiative. Her plan is to eventually start her own Foundation. She is currently writing two books: “Finance Doctor’s Tips & Tricks” and “Right Mindset”. Jhayne understands the importance of having a proper mindset in order to run a successful business therefore, she is not only assisting her clients to expand their business utilizing various strategies but she also coaches them in the importance of having the right mindset to run an effective and efficient enterprise.
